The Olivia Reader’s proposal is to make reading easy for everyone, especially children and adults with dyslexia. It works very well on Wikipedia and News websites, where the websites content is not dynamic.

Olivia Reader is built upon Safari and enriches the existing web browser capabilities by allowing the web surfer to overlay a transparent ruler, set background colours, change font type and size.
The app was created from a child’s idea submitted to The Super App Idea Competition 2014. Over 10 children were involved directly or indirectly in the app’s creation suggesting functionality and improvements. Olivia Reader was named after Olivia Loder, The Young Ambassador for the British Dyslexia Association.
